Tier2 Renewal ID Cards

 

  UK Parliment on 12th December 2009 passed a regulation which stipulates that all skilled migrants living in the UK will be issued with an ID Card when they renew their work visa via Tier 2 of the points based system.

After 6th January 2010 all applications under Tier2 will involve applicant providing photogragh and fingerprints ie biomentric data collection. Inaddition, to facilitate this increase in biometic collation the UK will increase enrolment centers to 11.

Appointments for biometic data collation may be provided at certain Post Offices on a trial basis, appointments may also be made online or via telephone.
