Tier 1 (Investors) Visa Extension....

Tier 1 (Investors) category is intended for applicants whom intend to make a significant financial investment in the United Kingdom.

An Applicant must satisfy either

1. £1 million has been invested in the UK - 30 points

2. Personal assets with a value exceeding £2 million taking into acount liabilities - 30 points

3. Money under the control of the Applicant amounts to not lesss than £1 million. This may include loaned money from a provider regulated by FSA

An Applicant must satisfy all of the following

1. Invested a minimum of £750,000 in the UK via either UK Government bonds or share capital or investment capital in active UK companies.(Excluding property investment companies)

2. Investments cannot be interpreted as placing deposits in a building society or bank

3. Investments must have been made within three months of gaining Tier 1 Visa and maintained throughout the duration of the Visa.
