Tier 1 (Entrepreneurs) is intended for Applicants who intend to make substantial financial investment in the United Kingdom by starting or assuming control of a UK business.

The requirements are you are awarded points based on your qualifications, previous earnings, UK Experience, age, English Language skills and available maintenence.

Basic Criteria

Proficiency in the English Language
Visa may be extended
Visa granted for an initial three years
Visa may be extended by another two years
No need for sponsorship
Based on points limited via Tier 1 General Category and specific criteria
English Language Ability
Maintenance Ability

Specific Requirements

Applicant must have access to £200,000 -25 points

Applicant monies must be held in a regulatedUK bank account

Applicants monies must be diposable in the UK

May not seek or undertake work in the United Kingdom

Must have created positions of employment for people with settled status

For new business creation, the Applicant must create an agrregate of two positions, full time or equivalent must have been created with each lasting a year

For an Applicant who has assumes control of a business the investment and prescence in the company must have created a least two positions
